Day 01 :

Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Draa Valley → Zagora Dunes

The tour will start at 07h30 AM with a pickup from your hotel/Riad. We will leave for Ouarzazate. We'll pass through the Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass. There are beautiful views to see. After lunch and exploring Ouarzazate, we will drive to Zagora. We'll cross the Draa River, which has created a 200 km oasis at the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. You will see several palmeraies along the way. Fields of corn, barley, vegetables, and henna dot the landscape. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in a hotel.

Day 02 :

Zagora →Tamegroute → Mhamid → Erg Chigaga

On the second day, after breakfast, we will drive to M'hamid. We'll pass the village of Tamagroute. You can visit a pottery factory, a hidden Kasbah, and the oldest Quranic libraries in Morocco. After lunch in M'hamid, we will cross various desert features. These include 'Erg', 'Reg', 'Hammada', and oases. We will reach the Erg Chigaga dunes, where you will ride camels to the camp. You will have dinner, enjoy local music with the nomads, and spend the second night in a Sahara Desert camp.

Day 03 :

Chigaga Dunes →Iriki Lake → Foum zguid → Tazenakht → Ait Benhaddou

In the morning, after breakfast, we will return. We'll pass the lake of Iriki, which was full of water 30 years ago but has since dried up due to natural processes. Then, we'll cross the small, quiet Berber town of Foum-Zguid to reach Tazenakht. It is one of the biggest centers of carpets in the kingdom, and it was a former trading post for this large region. Afterwards, we will drive to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site. It is an 11th-century fortified village. There, you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 04 :

Ait Benhaddou →Telouet → Tichka Pass → Marrakech

After breakfast, we will drive to the Kasbah of Telouet. It was the seat of the El Glaoui family's power. King Moulay Hassan gave them control of Morocco south of the High Atlas Mountains. Tourists can still visit the palace, but it is experiencing increasing damage. Finally, we will have lunch in the Pass of Tichka before returning later to Marrakech.
