Day 01 :

Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Zagora

Your 4-day Morocco desert tour from Marrakech departs at 07:30. It starts at your hotel or riad. The tour winds up through the Atlas Mountains, over the Tizi N'Tichka Pass, which is 2,260 meters high. The views are splendid. We make plenty of stops to take in the scenery and take photographs.

We arrive in Ouarzazate and visit Taourirt Kasbah. Lunch (at leisure) is before we continue to Zagora through Draa Valley. This amazing river has created a huge oasis. It is 200 km from the Anti-Atlas Mountains' foothills. Draa Valley has been, for many years, covered by the Sahara Desert's nomads.

Several palm groves will provide shade between kasbahs and ksours. Fields of corn, barley, and vegetables, along with henna plantations, dot the area. Dinner and overnight in Zagora.

Day 02 :

Zagora → Tazarine → Merzouga

Today, you will cross the volcanic peaks of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. You will drive southeast, past mad landscapes, and remote oases. You will stop for lunch at the oasis of Alnif. Then, you'll continue to Merzouga and then to Erg Chebbi, where your Sahara desert camp is. Upon arrival, switch to camels. Enjoy a trek in the Erg Chebbi dunes. It offers one of the world's best views: a sunset over the color-changing dunes! Drive back to your camp. Enjoy a tasty Moroccan dinner under the stars. Local nomads will entertain you with their drums. Don’t miss the clear sky's star constellations before you go to bed.

Day 03 :

Merzouga → Tinghir → Boumalne Dades

After breakfast at your desert camp, drive along the 1001 Kasbahs. You'll pass rivers, oases, and fortified Kasbahs. In Tinghir, walk in the oasis along the Todgha riverbank to the Todra canyons, where you will have lunch.

In the early afternoon, drive along the Dades Valley. You'll see some magnificent fortified kasbahs and Berber villages. The sunset will back the Dades gorges. Marvel at the scenery and take photos. Dinner and overnight at your Dades Valley hotel.

Day 04 :

Boumalne Dades → Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech

After breakfast, you’ll drive alongside the Valley of the Roses to Kalaa Mgouna. Visit the Rose Water Ladies' cooperative. Learn how locals make rose water perfume essences. We will visit Skoura Oasis, one of the largest in the South. If time permits, we'll see a kasbah there. Then, we will go to Ouarzazate and the UNESCO site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.

The fortified village is a top tourist spot in Morocco. It is famous for being a shooting location for various Hollywood blockbusters. After a long and relaxed lunch in the Kasbah, we drive to Marrakech. We take the Tizi N'Tichka to pass through the High Atlas Mountains.
