You'll go through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and have lunch at Ouarzazate. We will enjoy the scenic road. It has beautiful, colorful landscapes and Berber villages. We will have free time to visit the old Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and have lunch. Afterwards, we will go southeast to the green Dades Valley and the City of Roses. We will get there via the fascinating Skoura palmery. You will see amazing, varied landscapes. You can also see the changing mountains as you head to the Dadès via Skoura oasis, Kalaat M’gouna, and the valley of roses. Overnight at Tinghir in a half-board stay!
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take the Route of 1000 Kasbahs. We will drive around the colorful Berber villages of the Dades Valley. After 45 km, you will reach Tinghir with its beautiful palm groves and the Jewish quarter. Discover a natural place with amazing high valleys. Enjoy its serenity between two gorges. See the Berber villages scattered along the way; we will go to the Todgha (Todra) Gorge. You will have free time to walk along the gorges that are about 300 meters high. The gorges are a favorite place for rock climbers. After that, we will leave for the Erg Chebbi Dunes in the Merzouga desert. You will have time for lunch on the way before arriving in Erfoud. We will pass through Tinghir and the Jorf to get a feel for the desert landscape. We will visit the Tafilalt Oasis before arriving in Merzouga. Then we will head to the Erg Chebbi Dunes. After a welcome cup of tea at a hotel near the dunes, we will stop to relax in Merzouga for a bit. Then, we will board a camel and cross the dunes to a Bedouin Berber camp. Watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. Take pictures of the dramatic sunset from the top of the high dunes. Then head to the camp to spend the night in a Bedouin tent. We will have dinner and spend the night in tents in the desert (an unforgettable night).
If you are not a sleepy person, wake up early and wait until dawn; the show is unforgettable. After breakfast, our camels will take us to Merzouga. Then we will drive to Ifrane, one of the world's cleanest, most picturesque cities. Known as "Little Switzerland," it is in the Atlas Mountains, and it snows here in winter.
You can find a place to enjoy lunch in Ifrane, or it may be easier (depending on the schedule) to stop in the Ziz Valley. This beautiful inland Moroccan road is full of photography opportunities and stunning scenery.
Our modern air-conditioned vehicle will take us through the beautiful Ziz Valley. You'll see dramatic valleys, golden-red dunes, and stunning oases in the Tafilalt. You will see a lush canopy of palm trees on the cliffs. The views of the pink-gold sandstone buildings and the deep valleys are amazing. They meander through this picturesque valley.
